Grace to you and peace!
I don’t know what to write since I’m keeping a blog. A lot of the things I want to say are there, so I don’t want to repeat myself here.
However, I want to continue sending you all periodic emails because I want to let you know that I’m thinking of you and praying for you as you are praying for me (I don’t know about the thinking of me part haha).
I can’t thank you enough for praying for me and for supporting me. Please continue to pray for me. I know I’ll need it and I can seriously feel all your prayers. Being here, and being alone, is definitely a trying time and I know I can’t do it on my own.
At this time, my prayer requests are:
My ministry here teaching English at the seminary and in the city
Not being timid/shy, especially when it comes to speaking in Portuguese
That God would use my limited Portuguese for His glory. Did I tell you that I have to translate for a team that is coming from Canada?! Philippians 4:13!
How are you doing?! I know I can check my email infrequently, but I still want to know what’s going on in your life! Send me an email and tell me what’s going on. Send me any prayer requests and all that good stuff. And if you have to tell something to someone, you can always tell me because I’m nice and hidden from the world and I have no one to tell here seriously. Haha. I’ll be your TOP SECRET secret keeper. Holla.
Man, I wish you could be here. I wish everyone could be here. My words and even my pictures can only say so much. Being here is a totally different thing. I’ll be here until December so if you want to stop by, feel free. Haha. I make it sound so easy.
I feel like there are a lot of things to look forward to, but I have to constantly remind myself that I need to take things one step at a time and learn how to appreciate the present and to love what’s around me. I hope the same for you.
Also, if anyone has any Febreze to spare it’ll help me A LOT here. A LOT. J
